The amount of energy consumed by electrical motors in the U.S. is staggering. The U.S. DOE reports that, in 2006, the total annual energy consumption from motor-driven equipment in the U.S. industrial, commercial, residential and transportation sectors combined was approximately 1,431 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh), or more than 38 percent of the total U.S. electrical energy use. In 2006, motor-driven systems in the industrial sector consumed roughly 632 billion kWh/year, or 44 percent of all motor-driven system energy use. This industrial sector motor use equates to about 17 percent of the total U.S. electrical energy use. Within the industrial sector, more than 62 percent of the total electrical energy use is for motor-driven equipment.

La répartition par la main invisible du marché, pourtant réputée infaillible, ne semble pas être la méthode choisie et/ou anticipée, par le Grand Acteur pourtant maître propagateur de cette croyance.

C’est super cool les solutions secrètes cachées par les méchants lobbies du pétrole voire du nucléaire, mais vraiment, cela a-t-il une chance de marcher ??? Il me semble que même si la capacité calorifique est là, le *débit* d’énergie que l’on pourrait tirer de ce grand tube en U serait loin de faire l’affaire… Je laisse nos pros du forum fournir les chiffres !

La création monétaire, c’est vous, moi, tout le monde qui la faisons, chaque fois qu’on fait un crédit (les ménages ou les états) : les crédits font les dépôts, c’est ça que ça veut dire. C’est dans les manuels d’économie.

Pour quelqu’un qui ne connaît pas le sujet pic pétrolier, et qui voit ces chiffres (les premiers qu’il regardera sûrement) … il va se dire : quel pic pétrolier ? ou ça ? c’est le facteur financier qui provoque les crises, et non pas le facteur pétrolier.
